Features of Dubai frame

Dubai is never old or boring, especially, when it comes to innovations or breaking records. No city can compete with Dubai’s architectural landmarks. Even if you have already visited Dubai, the city would already have many new places to see just in a time period of a few months.

Termed as “the biggest picture frame on the planet”, the grand Dubai Frame is 150m high and 93m wide, making it a sight not to be missed! Built by Emaar and Dubai Municipality, Dubai Frame was made open to public on the 1st of January, 2018. The monument was inaugurated as a new year’s gift to the public, with the intention of attracting 2 million tourists, annually. Dubai Frame is the latest highly sought-after monument of the city.

The structure of Dubai Frame

  • The monument was designed by award-winning architect Fernando Donis, who is also responsible for designing other architectural marvels of Dubai.
  • The building of the Frame looks like a photo frame, comprising two transparent towers and a bridge.
  • The design of the facade is based on the logo of Expo 2020.

What’s inside Dubai Frame?

Museum: the past of Dubai

Sky-Deck Level: the present of Dubai

The next thing available for the visitors is a lift to the Sky-Deck Level, which is a representation of the ultra-modern Dubai. Looking into the south will offer a view of the Sheikh Zayed Road to symbolize modern Dubai while another side shows old areas such as Deira to put light on the Old Dubai, looking towards the north.

Future Dubai Gallery: the future of Dubai

The Future Dubai Gallery is a swirl tunnel depicting an imagination of the future of Dubai, 50 years from now, using highly-advance virtual reality and interactive projections.
