Tips to Choose a Suitable Car Rental Type

Booking a rental car in UAE is an important decision and to make that decision many factors are to be taken into consideration. Following are a few general car rental tips you can rely upon before renting a car.

  • Make sure you read all the ‘Rental Terms’ in detail before renting a car. As each supplier has different rental terms and conditions, it will allow you to thoroughly understand the car rental deal, the size of the car, and how much you are paying for it.
  • There are several types of rental car covers such as Collision Damage Waiver (CDW), Theft Waiver (THW), and Third Party Liability (TPL). When renting a car, do read what covers and inclusions are provided by your supplier.
  • When booking a car rental, the car name will follow an ‘or similar’ tag, indicating that at the ‘rental desk’ you may be provided with the exact car as mentioned or a similar one with the same attributes. Note that type of the car would remain the same but the model may differ as the car rental fleet frequently changes for most of the rental companies.
  • Car rental classifications are different for different car rental companies. To avoid confusion focus on the car seats and the inclusions.
